SUPC selects LM Information Delivery as a framework supplier

LM Information Delivery (LM), a leading international provider of subscription and information management services, has renewed its agreement as a framework supplier of printed and electronic journals for the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC).

The contract will see LM Information Delivery continue its long standing relationship with SUPC and its members by supplying the consortia with electronic and printed journal subscriptions, including e-packages.

SUPC is a membership-based buying organisation for universities and further education colleges that develops and manages framework agreements. Other Regional Purchasing Consortia that participate in the agreement to make up the Joint-Consortia Agreement include the University Purchasing Consortia LUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC and HEPCW and academic library consortia NoWAL, MUAL, NEYAL and WHELF.

Caroline Currie, LM Information Delivery Country Manager for UK & Ireland believes that the company’s background and experience of working with SUPC and other large consortia will prove to be advantageous for all institutions that chose to work with LM:

“Thanks to LM’s vast global network of publisher partners, our consortia customers are able to benefit from cost-effective solutions for journal procurement.

“In addition, we work closely with our customers to develop our software and services based on their needs. SUPC and other participating consortia members will be able to take advantage of our latest developments as soon as they become available. This includes the newest release of our online subscription management software, LibNet as well as our newly implemented customer service software integration that provides our customers with faster, smarter and more personalized customer service.

We’re delighted to be continuing our partnership with SUPC and look forward to working with new and existing SUPC customers.”
