LM Information Delivery customer file.

Purpose of processing personal data and legal basis

Personal data saved in LM Information Delivery’s customer file are used for executing the customer agreement between the controller and the data subject. The data is used for enabling orders, subscriptions, interactions, marketing, reporting and other measures related to the management of the customer relationship.

If the data subject fails to provide requested data to the extent where they pertain to the processing of orders, the controller cannot accept orders from the data subject or commit to an agreement between the controller and the data subject concerning the processing of orders.

Storage period for personal data

Personal data are stored for as long as is necessary to manage a registered customer relationship. The data will be erased once the storage period required by law has expired.

Person groups and data content of file

The person groups whose data can be processed are the controller’s customers.

Basic information on the data subjects is collected for the file, such as:

Data provided by the customer.

Regular disclosure of data and transfer of data to countries outside the EU or the European Economic Area

For managing orders placed by the customer, customer data is disclosed to publishers. Depending on the publisher’s domicile, data can also be disclosed outside the EU or the EEA, subject to data protection legislation.

File protection principles

The data contained in LM Information Delivery system that is protected with the operating system’s protection software. Access to the system requires entering a user ID and password. The system is also protected with firewalls and other technical means. The data saved in the system can only be accessed and used by specific, predetermined employees of the controller. The data contained in the file are located in a locked space under security surveillance.

Profiling

The data contained in the file are not used for profiling.

Data subjects’ right to prohibit

Data subjects are entitled to prohibit the use of their personal data for direct advertising, distance selling and other direct marketing, as well as for market and opinion research and for public registers and genealogical research. The prohibition must be made in writing and addressed to the person in charge of file matters.

Data subjects’ right of access

Data subjects have the right of access to their personal data contained in the file and the right to obtain copies thereof. The request of access must be made in writing and addressed to the person in charge of file matters.

Rectification of data

The controller shall rectify, erase or complete information contained in the file that is incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete or expired for the purposes of processing, on its own initiative or on the request of the data subject. The data subject must contact the controller’s person in charge of file matters.

Purpose of processing personal data and legal basis

The personal data saved in the Libnet.fi website user file are used for managing customer orders and contacts.

In addition, when placing orders, the users of the Libnet.fi website must enter data containing personal data, which are saved in the customer file of LM Information Delivery (see privacy statement for LM Information Delivery’s customer file.)

Personal Data is any information that can be used to identify you, or any other individual to whom the information may relate, such as name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, educational background or other similar information. It is important that you carefully review this Privacy Policy and User Consent before submitting your resume.

Use of Personal Data

Your Personal Data may be used for hiring and employment purposes and to evaluate your credentials for job opportunities available at LM Information Delivery or for a specific job opportunity selected by you. LM strives to maintain high standards for the collection, processing, use, and transfer of Personal Data gathered in this context.

Type of Data Collected

LM may require that you provide certain Personal Data during the resume submission process. Depending on the Personal Data that you choose to submit, LM may collect the following Personal Data: your name, your address, you e-mail and other contact information, your educational background, your employment history, your areas of expertise, your job type preferences and any other information which you elect to transmit through the resume submission process. This information will be used to validate your identity during this process and to evaluate you for a position in LM.

LM does not require data regarding race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or gender expression, national origin, citizenship, marital status, disability or veteran status, political opinions or affiliations, affiliations with trade organizations or unions in the resume submission process. Therefore, you are not required to submit this type of data as part of your resume.

Process of Data

Personal Data collected through the recruitment process will be stored and used for the purpose of evaluating your application. If you are hired, LM will further process your Personal Data during human resources administration. Processing of Personal Data includes using, recording, storing, transferring, sharing and destroying Personal Data as necessary under the circumstances or as otherwise required by law. LM may require you to provide original documents containing Personal Data that verify your employment eligibility and identification, which information may be processed in the same manner.

Storage of Data

LM will retain Personal Data in its recruitment system for a period of time as LM deems appropriate based on customary local human resource practices and applicable legal requirements. If LM hires you, your Personal Data will become part of your employment file.

Your application is valid for a period of 6 or 12 months based on your selection. Your application will not be available for open positions after this period.

Transfers of Data

To adequately evaluate your resume submission, LM may provide access to your Personal Data to LM personnel for the purposes of evaluating your suitability for employment and, if hired, for human resources administration. This may involve the transfer of your Personal Data in and outside your country. It may also be necessary to disclose your Personal Data to suppliers, contractors or service agents providing services to LM. For example, subject to certain legal requirements, LM may use external service providers to collect, process, and validate your Personal Data. LM requires that such service providers comply with LM´s privacy policies and local legal requirements when providing such services. These transfers may be transmitted over the internet, via mail, via facsimile, or by any other method that LM determines is appropriate and in accordance with applicable law.

Furthermore, Personal Data that is voluntarily submitted via LM´s recruitment system may be maintained or accessed in servers or files located in Finland. By submitting this information, you agree that this application will be governed by the laws of Finland.
